Scholarship Details
Since its inception in 2021, this scholarship has been dedicated to nurturing a passion for careers in agriculture, making post-secondary education both achievable and affordable, and supporting the family members of our farming partners who are eager to pursue agriculture as their chosen career path.
We’re proud to offer two scholarships valued at $1,250 each to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders!
Applications open on April 1st, and close on June 30th.

About Darrel Penner
Darrel K Penner grew up in Steinbach, MB where he was eager to take part in business of any sorts. From stacking lumber, to odd jobs at Penner Farm Services, to rising the ranks at Steinbach Credit Union in the loans department, to finally rounding out his career with the family business.
Darrel never strayed far from the family businesses, or community outreach, even as he stepped into retirement. Passionate about fundraising, Darrel become a local expert in the subject and often assisted a variety of organizations in the Southeast to reach their goals.
Known for his fairness, community involvement, passion for honesty, and love for agriculture, we seek candidates that embody the qualities Darrel never waivered from.
